Online Training

We use the latest in online training technology to provide you with the HFACS information you need, when and where you need it.

Our program offers basic HFACS/HFIX training for online users (Super-User training is not available online) and contains fully narrated modules, which are presented in an online streaming format. The lectures also offer interactive knowledge testing with real-time comprehension quizzes. In addition, successful completion of this online course makes you eligible to apply for HFACS Certification.

By registering for the online course you will receive a kit containing the book, A Human Error Approach to Aviation Accident Analysis : The Human Factors Analysis and Classification System, by Drs. Doug Wiegmann and Scott Shappell, a workbook specifically designed to support the online training curriculum, case study exercises, Generic HFACS/HFIX software  (single user), and the HFACS/HFIX pocket checklist. Registrants also gain access to our HFACS community though our exclusive discussion boards and expert blogs.
